Analysis of the equine gut microbe using 16S-ITS-23S rRNA operon amplicon sequencing

This study was carried out to construct a metagenomic methodology by using 16S-ITS-23S rRNA operon region and to evaluate the amplicon sequencing with the operon region for the equine gut microbiota, comparing with amplicon sequencing with full-length 16S rRNA gene and shotgun sequencing.
